Viewing the Site
This site does it’s best to get you information that is accessible to you regardless of your physical abilities, how up to date your computer is and even if you’re totally tech and are browsing through your cellphone or other hand held device.
Text Size
If your eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be or if you simply like reading larger text you can always change the text size yourself on your browser. This works for most other sites as well so keep that in mind.
Internet Explorer: on the top menu bar choose "View" > "Text Size" > then choose from Smallest to Largest
Firefox: on the top menu bar choose "View" > "Text Size" > "Increase Ctl++" or just hold down the "Ctrl" Key and hit the plus "+" button until you’re satisfied. Hold down "Ctrl" and hit the minus "-" button to decrease text size.
Writing/Editing posts or pages
The first thing you’ll want to do is log in with your credentials. Ron would have given these to you and remember that they are case sensitive.
Don’t worry. If you’ve lost your password you can get it back by using the "Lost your Password?" option
Making a new entry to post in the news section.
- Once you are logged in you can choose "Write" From the menu.
- This will launch you directly into the editor. It’s pretty simple so don’t be scared. Don’t forget to give the post an appropriate title.
- You can also choose to label a few categories to it for future sorting purposes
Editing an existing entry or page
The easiest way to edit an existing page that has already been published is to find that page or entry on the site. If you are already logged in there should be an "Edit this Entry" or "Edit" option at the bottom of the post or page. Clicking that will launch the editor.
- Once you are logged in you can choose "Manage" From the menu.
- From there you can choose which new item or "post" you want to edit.
- If you want to edit a permanent page choose the "Pages" sub-tab and choose from the list.
Adding images
Make sure the cursor is where you want the image then just click on the add image button

- Now copy and paste your text from your Word document.
- If it is a big file it might be safer if you do this in a few steps. Just copy the info from the first page or two and paste it in following steps 2-4. Once done copy more of the document and once again follow steps 2-4. Don’t forget to check the "Remove Styles definitions" button each time.
- Now that you’ve done that you probably had images and are wonder where they went or why they are broken. Go to the image box and right click.

- Change the settings appropriately the same as you would for adding images.
